We all enter the workplace with unconscious bias that shows up in the way we interact with each other, frequently resulting in microaggressions- harm to people in historically excluded groups. People causing harm, who generally hold more power and unearned advantages, are sometimes oblivious, and often penalize people who hold them to account. We explore these dynamics and what each of us can do to disrupt bias.
